Minsan pag wala akong magawa eh iniisip ko ang mga bagay na to. Ewan ko nga ba kung bakit ito pumapasok sa kokote ko, hahahaha.

Wednesday na pero as usual tambak pa rin ang mga requirements. Kanina nag prefinals kami sa theology. Lintik! tama na sana ang answers ko kaya lang pinalitan ko pa. Nasobrahan yata ako sa review, tuloy nalito ako. Minsan tama na mag-trust sa first instinct. 50 items yung test, habang nagrereview, chinekan ko na ang mga siguradong tama sa tingin ko. Nilagyan ko na nga ng tentative scores, hehehe. Parang sigurado na agad. Natawa nga si sir pagpass ko ng paper ng makita niya na may score na, hehehe.

Yehey! magtatapos na ang semester! Three weeks na lang at pahinga na. Next semester will be my last stay in college. Am I ready to face the real world of no allowance and employment? Hindi pa ata, ewan ko .
Monday na naman. Ang bilis ng mga araw. Panibagong week na naman ng projects, assignments at exams! Pero ganyan talaga ang buhay estudyante, haay...

It's been a while since my last post in this blog. The last two weeks were one of the busiest. Patung-patong ang mga requirements at kasabay pa ang Peñafrancia fiesta.

Noong nakalipas na fiesta, sobrang tao ang dumating sa bahay: pinsan, kapitbahay, katrabaho ni mama, kaklase, dormmate, at kung sinu-sino pa. Muntikan na ngang may pumasok na tindera ng mani sa bahay!

*Pumasok sa gate ang tindera ng mani.

Tindera ng mani: Lilingon-lingon sa bintana... Garo ayos magtinda igdi ta dakol ang tao (Mukhang ayos dito magtinda kasi maraming tao...)

Akmang bubuksan ang doorknob...

Ako: Ano po?

Tindera ng mani: Matinda akong mani.

Ako: Bako man po ning plaza! (Hindi naman po ito plaza!)

Hay, galing naman ng napiling pagtindahan ng tindera at bahay pa namin ang napili (hehehe).


Prefinals ang bumalaga sa akin pagdating ng dorm. Ni wala pang kapirma-pirma ang permit ko. Mabuti na lang at na-move ang schedule ng ilang exams to next week kaya sobrang luwang ng oras ko para matulog nang matulog. Ang saya kasi hindi na hectic ang class schedule ko. sa MW schedule ko, isang subject na lang, 1:30-3:00 lang at sa TTh, two subjects na lang, 6:00-9:00pm na lang; sobrang yehey talaga!

the heat escape..

The day was oh so hot! Though I took a bath, I kept on perspiring. Before I arrived at Camarines SUr National High School to get the observation schedule, my body is all wet with sweat. The handkerchief could not anymore hold the perspiration, maybe I should bring a towel then. The uniform just added to the heat of the day. I wanted to wear it off but I opted not to since it was not appropriate and it took me a lot of hard work to press it (hehehe).

When I arrived at Cam High, my alma mater, students were practicing for the incoming military parade next week. Well, the school boasts of good record on the competition and a perennial winner in every category of the parade. In our batch, my classmate was the Corps Commander, and I, just a spectator. I haven't experienced marching in full CAT uniform. Thank God somehow. Well, it is also good to be back on my former school. It was very nostalgic indeed. The buildings, teachers, the century-old facade only reminded me of four years in high school. It is so ironic because in high school I used to hate some of my teachers but here I am now a graduating education student, soon to be like them.

Back to the heat topic, I went home to have some relaxation and sleep as well. It was a refuge from the scorching heat of the sun outside. I happened to watch the ever controversial Wowowee which recently got a lot flaks for the alleged scam in its new game show, Wilyonaryo and ignite a Senate hearing. Actually, I watched the episode of the Wilyonaryo scam but just ignore the part where the alleged cheating occurred. That's why I was so surprised that it was in the headlines and the talk of the town recently. In today's episode, Willie Revillame explained the incident. It was also surprising that it still has a lot of supporters just like its host after all the issues. Well, I like Wowowee but there at some elements in the show that I am not in favor like the over-exposure of flesh of its dancers and exploitation of the masses' unfortunate condition. I wonder how will a foreigner perceive the Philippines if one sees the program abroad, to think that ABS-CBN is seen via the TFC.

I slept for about an hour with the electric fan in the maximum and a background music from the radio. What an escape to the day's heat. However, I still can't hide from the heat the moment I leave the house. I rushed to go the mall to feel some coldness. I decided to go back to the dorm but I ended up in another mall treating myself with ice cream and some fun at the arcade. Then, I went back to the dorm to take a nap and ready myself for my only class this day at 7:30pm and thank God, it was on the Instructional Media Center.

Hoping that tomorrow will not be hot as this day. Maybe I should offer eggs to the gods so that rain will come.

Unang araw ngayon ng September. Ber months na, ibig sabihin simula na ng christmas season. September pa lang nagsasabit na ng Christmas lights at parol sa mga bahay nila. Maririnig na naman ang mga walang kamatayang Christmas songs sa radyo at mga malls. Onli in da Pilipins....

Dito sa Naga City, pag September na, it means Peñafrancia Fiesta. Sa Sept. 7 magsisimula sa pamamagitan ng Traslacion kung saan from Basilica Minore ay itatransfer ang image ni Ina sa Naga Cathedral at magtatapos sa Fluvial Procession pag Sunday. Kanina habang naglalakad ako sa centro, may mga nakasabit nang banderitas. Siguro ngayong week na lahat lalagyan ng banderitas ang mga kalye sa Naga. Panahon naman ng mga parades, civic at military. Meron ding mga concerts. Minsan nga naiisip ko na hindi na ito isang religious festival kasi masyado nang commercialized. Ginagawa nang negosyo ang dapat sana ay religious celebration. Pero siguro parte na ng isang fiesta ang mga ganitong mga kasiyahan.

Kasabay naman ng fiesta ang Intramurals sa Ateneo de Naga. Pero may mga araw pang may pasok. Kasi after ng Intramurals eh two weeks Finals na naman. Ang dami pang araw na walang pasok dahil sa mga holidays ni Gloria. Apektado ang mga MW classes dahil LUnes palagi ang holiday. Minsan nga nakakabagot ng pumasok dahil sa mga interruptions.

Nang nag-check ako ng greenpinoy.com, di ko akalaing isasama ako sa mga links ni greenpinoy. Hindi talaga ako makapaniwala. Kasi naman kung ikukumpara sa ibang blogs na naroon, eh ordinaryo lang tong blog na to. Ang background super ordinaryo. Di ko kasi alam ayusin ang blog na to. Di ko alam pasikut-sikot sa pag-ayos nito. Pero salamat greenpinoy! Mwahhh!

Hay naku, matapos kong magawa ng mga projects at take-home exam, eh meron naman mga kapalit. Prefinals na nga. Magmamake-up class pa kami sa isa naming subject every 4:30-6:00 pm para makabawi sa mga araw na walang pasok. Samahan pa ng mga papers, integration at reflection papers. Parang hindi pa nga ako nakakabawi sa tulog, bagsak pa ang katawan ko sa puyat kasi nung Byernes eh mga 5:00 am na ako nakatulog katatapos lang ng take-home exam ko. Pero salamat na rin at nabawasan na ang mga pasanin sa buhay.
