The day was so loaded, I have to attend two seminars namely Kwentong Bayan and Spiritual Exercises, and my two consecutive three-hour subjects on SPED. The Kwentong Bayan tackles more on the national situationer of our dear beloved country, well, there nothing new, it's still the same old situation though there are some good news. My first subject in SPED was mostly on recap because there were new classmates who belong to the Executive Class (professionals who enrolled in units in SPED). After the class, I went to the SpEx late. When I came in, they were already in their closing prayer. Good thing that there was a bit sharing of experiences from the audience that I got a glimpse of what happened.
I missed the birthday party of Ate Tin at St. Joseph. Sayang, they said that it was a feast of food. I was not able to attend because I don't have any single centavo on my pocket, money, money, money, always a hindrance...for great food, lol.

grrr....
Sometimes, I heard some negative things about me from my friends and even at home like I'm selfish, only thinks of personal interest, backfighter, always criticize things, more sound as a personality attack. But whenever I am told that straight-face, all I can do is to have a grin smile at those people. Well, its their personal opinion, and as the cliche goes there's no correct or wrong opinion; however, sometimes I am still affected by some remarks especially when I know that they aren't true. Well, I admit that I've done things that for others are unlikely. Anyone of us who in any other way do not do some nasty things? Raise your hands... The point is, no one is perfect, so why do some people act and say as if their the epitome of a righteous one.

same old brand new...
Yesterday was the first day of wearing the school uniform, yeah, I have again to wear that old uniform of mine, but I'm not bitter about that. It's still white and wearable, though. That day, the rain poured out so hard that some of Ateneo's canals overflowed, making Ateneo a waterworld for about hours. My socks were a little wet, nevermind the after odor (yuck..). When the rain subsided, it was damn hot and I felt uneasy because of the uniform.
My first class was SRA. It was a comeback because after two semesters of not attending the class, I finally decided to finish the remaining last book. And hurray, I am now in level 3B after two times of answering the rate builders. If only I attend SRA regularly, I could have finish it earlier and if only attendance is monitored, I could have AF's now. Thank God that SRA is a no-unit subject. Well, happy reading for me.

a movie to remember

I've just watched A Walk to Remember on youtube this night with my dormmates. Actually, it's my second or third time to watch the movie, but it felt like the first time. I can watch the movie over and over again because the story is really beautiful and touching. It's good to watch the most poignant parts. It really make you fall in love with Jamie and Landon's story.
The movie is a manifestation of how love can transform one's life for good. Indeed, it can make miracles for love itself is a miracle.
YABANG PINOY

Habang binabasa ko ang blog ni bianca gonzalez, nakita ko ang yabang pinoy logo, nacurious lang ako, kaya tiningnan ko yung website nya. Astig yung yabang pinoy dahil maganda yung cause na ipinaglalaban nila which is to be proud as a Filipino. Aaminin ko I am losing hope in this God-forsaken country (forgive me..), sino ba naman and hindi makakaramdam nyan, pero I felt a little ashamed din nung mabasa ko ang yabang pinoy.
Ang maganda pa sa yabang pinoy ay it's more on the youth as the agents in restoring this country. Parang its a modern day revolution. Galing talaga! Marami tayong dapat ipagyabang, we have to be nationalistic especially this time that our country is in dire crisis.
May ipinapakalat silang bracelet pero sa Manila at Cebu pa lang ito available. Kelan kaya to makakarating sa Naga, 48 years I think. Sana magkaroon rin ako nang ganoon.
PROUD TO BE PINOY! IPAGYABANG MO!

vince's life

I've just read a pretty good book titled Vince's life. It was about the college love that blossomed between Vince and Andrea. Every college student will surely in one way or another relate to the story, be it the electryfing feel of first love, the intimacy of having a significant other, or barkada life. What I liked most about the book is that it does present love in pure simplicity without trying to impress its readers and it on man's point of view which is rare in this kind of genre. Vince's life will bring you again to the wonderful feeling of falling in love.

high school reunion
Before enrollment, I had the chance to be with my high school classmates in a swimming escapade in Balogo,Pasacao. Though we were just fifteen, it was such a happy get-together. It's nice to see former classmates I never see after graduation. Memories of those good old days were reminisced with fun-filled stories of our classmates, the teachers and updating what's new for everyone else's life.
Triboo as we fondly called our section, IV-Jupiter of batch 2004, is not just a name but it the invisible bond that brings us together no matter how far we go or how often we see each other. Just mention it and it easily rings a bell to us. I know many of my classmates have been on their own road now, each of us have their own laid plans for their life, but the friendships that were formed in those four years is in hearts forever.
Miss u guyz...

back to monotony
Vacation is finally over, though my mind still lingers on those memories of the three-month rest and rest. Well, good things have come to an end as Nelly Furtado's song. I can say that this vacation is the most memorable, many events happened, the eight days (silent) retreat, the Manila experience, St. Joseph teacher stint and never mind the aches. But now I have to face the tiring, monotonous, yet fulfilling world of schooling.
Being back means back again in the Xavier dormitory. I am again in this place next to home, only it is more structured and law-governed. Waking up early at five to attend the 6:15 am mass, having a two-hour study period beginning at 8 pm, then right after is the Conex at the church, this is mainly the day-to-day routine of my dorm life. Sounds monasteric huh.
But believe me this damn dorm routine works for a law-breaker person like me. I learned to be more disciplined and brings me closer to the Creator. Another is that my world really changed here. I became more open to accept every person around me and appreciate the blessings that God bestowed on me.
So how do I break the monotony? Well, I spend more time outside with my friends or sometimes go to our house just to take a peek on the television. Since internet access is a bit faster in the dorm, I can't leave a day without checking my friendster account or just surfing the wide world of web.
